The Rainbow 5 GoGo Bar is located on the middle floor of Nana Plaza next to the Twister Bar. Formerly called Rainbow 4. Rainbow 5 is a firm favorite of the Japanese visitors to Nana Plaza. You will be surprised when enter as the bar is larger than what you would expect. There is a long narrow dance floor that would hold 20 dancers comfortably.
Here at Rainbow 5 they really like to pack the dance floor with up to 30 gogo dancers. The night I went In the stadium seating at either side of the dance floor was full. There was a few westerners inside but you could tell most the dancers were interested in the Japanese customers. I did have a couple of dancers come over for a chat therefore it’s not all one way traffic.

As you enter on the LHS there are some tables with stools this is were I ended up sitting since they were so busy. You still get a good view at one end of the dance floor. The dancers do lose their tops on occasions adding to the atmosphere of the bar.
Here at Rainbow 5 they have some of the best drink staff within Nana Plaza, women with a real personality I found myself more interested in talking to them until the dancers lost their tops of course. A Tiger Beer cost 165฿.
I can see why the dancers here dig the Japanese customers since some do tip well when they decide to leave. Also when they do take a fancy to one of the dancers then most don't hold back with buying them more than a few drinks.
Rainbow 5 is a good bar to hangout especially if you get a seat where you can see the whole dance floor . The music being played is good for the gogo dancers. It’s just a pity that the girls don’t have much room to move. They do cater well for the demographic of their clientele, who do appear to like what they see.
Rainbow Nana Plaza … 7/10.
